While all of Morey's wheeling and dealing is great, at some point we have to let the players gel and develop chemistry. The Heat got their superteam, and it took more than a season for them to figure it out. The Lakers superteam has been a mess their first year. Hopefully, we have narrowed down the core of the future (Asik, Robinson, Parsons, Harden, Lin) and will give them time to gel.

The important players are going to stay. Am a little worried that Morey may try to trade Parsons in the future, but given that Asik and Lin expire the same year that Parsons does, I don't think that's a serious concern. After all, the report is that the Hawks demanded Asik and Parsons for Smith and Houston basically laughed them off the phone in response. Asik, Lin, and Harden will certainly be on this team by the end of the 2013-14 season, and I'm about 85% certain Parsons will be as well. We have a core at last. That's great.

Crazy old man Parsons was seen running kids off his lawn with a shotgun this morning.

DaFuq is this thread... I thought Parsons won Player of the Week or something

Thanks for the reminder that Parsons has now moved up the Morey list of soon to be traded.
I don't think Parsons will make it past the summer of '14

He improved so much this year. He was just a hustle guy last year. Real impressed by parsons.
