Not for a long time.. he may need a year in the D-League or 2 years.
1. His body is crap, he isnt in the shape he needs to be to contribute to a playoff team.
2. Game skills is sub-par atm
3. Shots pretty awful.
Royce White is a wash as far as I'm concerned ~ until he decides he wants to dominate the NBA. Based on all he is interested in I'm not sure its going to happen. His real passion is mental health and music.

I'd say there is zero chance he joins the team this year.

Royce White will not be an active member of this teams roster this season. Nor would he help if he were here.

Royce has a nice kitchen. He says Ron Artest and Delonte West are also mentally ill. (shock!)
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/03/1 ... 03673.html"If I was to make an educated guess, I would guess that Adam Silver and David Stern and the Rockets organization, some other owners in the league, GMs, want me gone. And why do they want me gone? Because business is about convenience, not about doing what's necessary. It's about cutting overhead... And a lot of times, what's best for us as human beings doesn't meet that criteria for business people."

Why would you say 'the rocket organization wants me gone'? why? doesnt benefit you or what you are trying to advocate. If Royce wants to advocate for mental health he has to realise his best chance is working alongside his employer forging a career for himself.
Articulate people lacking in intelligence and common sense and with an agenda are dangerous.
Has there been a lazier rookie ever? Has a player ever put on 30 pounds of fat in his rookie year?

Unless he improves drastically over the course of this year's D-League. He will perhaps have to prepare to take his bus on the road to find another D-league team to play for. Kudos to him for sticking up for his beliefs, its just not going to mean a lick on the courts.

Have I mentioned recently that this guy, while remarkably articulate for a 22 year old, is a blathering idiot?
I'm 100% positive that the rockets would prefer you to get in shape, fix your broke-ass shot, and STFUCTFD with all this evangelizing crap.
Meanwhile, moofs continues posting on internet forums, like a boss.

The real question should be when will Royce White appear in a "whatever happened to?" article.

His 15 minutes are almost up. He got a garunteed rookie contract for 3 years. That's his last one ever. He'll be driving a UPS truck soon enough.

Have been advised by our team physician it is most logical I be in Houston the remainder of the season. Thank you @rgvvipers for having me.

This guy's head is a bag of cats, but I can't help but think that there is much more going on behind the scenes than we know.
