starting backcourt for cavs is out. they replacement still had a good game vs the heat, but the emotion from the crowd and the lure of breaking the streak probably was a boost.
rockets do what they're supposed to its a win. i wanna see what zeller can do, never seen him yet. vs asik should be intriguing.

the easy stretch of this month is done after this game. next week we go againt 4 good playoff teams - spurs, pacers, grizz/clips. i think we can win one, but if they bring it every game, we can go 2-2 that week.

utah's at spurs, and tony's back in the lineup, thx spurs. and lakers host the wizards. wiz play gsw tomarrow, so i'd rather them lose tonight and beat the warriors.

Thanks for getting the game thread started!

The Rockets need this one tonight. Cavs have a lot of guys out, but their depleted team showed a lot of heart against the Heat.

Get some good minutes from the starters, but I hope to see the backups get some quality minutes tonight.

It's funny how the season up to date, fades into obscurity. Nothing matters more than winning NOW, even though we wouldn't be in this position without solid play PREVIOUSLY. We have to take care of business against scrub teams, and hope some other games happen to favour us to improve our position. I for one DO NOT want to play Denver at any stage. I honestly think they will be in the WC finals. Denver are the sleeper team that has exploded since losing their "superstar" Carmelo. I don't think enough is said about how good Denver are. If Houstn can't do it this season. I think I will jump aboard the Denver bandwagon for the remainder of the playoffs. What is not to like about that team?

Am I the only one that is sick of the LeBron Vs JT Memes being flung around Facebook etc. As much as I hate Mark Cuban, he made a very valid point about JT trying to play defense, and ultimately failing. But he tried. Look at the Nate Robinson dunk in this thread. You see players clearing the lane so as not to be on the nasty end of the highlight reel, rather than attempt to contest the play. I am seriously starting to really hate Miami fans, more so than Laker/Utah/Dallas.

When is the NBA going to get SERIOUS about flopping. Issue fines and a Technical. It is Unsportsmanlike behaviour, and warrants a Technical. Think of this. You get the Technical (FT and Posession) the Technical fine, (on an increasing gradient, that can lead eventually to suspension) and the fine for flopping. It's like a triple whammie, and I am sure it would cut out flopping completely.
