Last game of the playoffs weekend.
On TNT.
Parsons in their 6 meetings holds Durant to 44-45% shooting, and 34% from three. Only 8 FTA's too.
Lin made Westbrook his ***** in our last meeting.
TJones is the x-factor, along with Greg Smith.
No idea what to expect from Harden. He had his best game of the season versus them last time, but he's been pretty poor the last two months in regards to his FG% and turnovers.
Let's send shock waves throughout the NBA.
Win.

I like the chances our frontcourt has in this matchup... I got a feeling one of Asik/Smith/Jones will have a big game.
Just need the back court to not play like retards. If I see Lin/Harden playing that weak bonehead defense i'm gonna be angry. I guess at least Lin tries... he just thinks he can free lance all the damn time.
Not worried about Parsons at all he is our smartest player, always makes Durant work.
Would like to see Garcia get heavy minutes on Martin, he would neutralize him, Delfino will get all his minutes tho & I can definitely see one of Harden/Lin "defending" Martin giving open looks all night.
I think we got game 1.

Lin and Parsons need to play westbrook and durant to a near standstill. Im not suggesting they are anywhere near as good as them but they need to turn it into a battle, make them fight for every point and make them give up energy and fouls on the defensive end. I think they have the potential to atleast occupy them.
Harden and the bigs then need to have their way with the rest of the thunder. Asik should dominate.
I can see OKC going small with ibaka at the 5 and mchale playin delfino at the 5 against him

Sick preview...
I don't expect the Rockets to win any of the games. Just hoping that these guys will play their hearts out and learn how to play as a unit rather than a bunch of individuals.
Go Rockets.

it's going at least 4 games. Unless we get beat so bad we forfeit the rest.

Thunder in 6 games. I said we could make the Playoffs. Nothing about getting out of the first round. Unless we pull a Golden State over Dallas trick.

Here. we go.
Morey wanted to increase the variance in this series. Prepare to see alot of smallballs and tons of 3.
We either win game 1 by 2 points or lose by 25.

You know what i wouldn't rule out Delfino at the 5 completely. Whether this is a competitive series or not is going to depend on Delfino hitting his 3s. Carlos is going to break the NBA record in 3pt attempts in a game this series.
Lin
Harden
Garcia
Parsons
Delfino

so thats what he meant by increasing the variance? well then a small percentage of rockets fans are gonna die of laughing from the meme thread on clutchfans
"so delfino after the lakers loss last week, what are your thoughts on defending gasol?"

"ok lets change the topic. after speaking with mchale earlier today, he said he's gonna play u at center for at least 20minutes a game in the playoffs. what are your thoughts and concerns about that?"

Ya, the odds of Delfino at PF starting are over 9000%.

I'm ready for this game already!
Delfino on Ibaka won't be so bad... Ibaka isn't really a post scorer, doesnt he get most of his points from midrange?
Having him gaurd Delfino on defense is alot better than watching him defend Smith and be in good position to help defend on drives.
Really don't wanna see him get 10 blocks on Lin, Harden & Parsons drives.

I don't think we'll play Delfino at the 5, but I do think we'll see a lots of small ball. Wouldn't be surprised if neither Jones or Dmo get PT. Kinda hope they don't. Just go small all game, chuck 3s all over.

I'd go:
Asik 36 Smith 12
Delfino 32 Garcia 16
Parsons 40 Beverley 4 Garcia 4
Harden 40 Beverley 8
Lin 34 Beverley 14

I expect the starting lineup to continue to be
Asik
Smith
Parsons
Harden
Lin
but i wouldn't be surprised if Delfino closes alot of games at PF or C depending on matchup.

I hope Jones gets the majority of PF minutes.
We need to keep the rebounding edge, but also pull Ibaka out of the paint.

Reason I'd start Delfino is that it'd maximize the small ball minutes against Ibaka and Perkins. Once the Thunder go small themselves with Ibaka or Collison at the 5 the Rockets will no longer have an edge. OKC's small ball lineup is one of the best in the league.
So, I'd roll the dice with Delfino starting. I'm fine losing the series getting beat up by Ibaka and I just don't trust Jones or D-mo.
We'll see. I'm pumped already!
