Around the NBA 2013 Offseason

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Sun Jun 30, 2013 11:22 pm

Well...everything starts in earnest tonight! Lots of activity not involving the Rockets and none bigger than what may be unfolding between the Knicks & Raptors.

The rumor is Camby, Novak, a future first round pick and two future second round picks for Andrea Bargnani.

...I don't have the words.

All kinds of activity to be expected.

bargs would get roasted alive in new york when he has his first 20pt/1rb game there

but heell yeah im ready for this offseason. rockets have a good shot at getting a the best big black guy. im tired of all these knockoffs - dalembert, camby, jeffries, armstrong. its about time we get a prototype

We already have a big black guy...he just happens to be a light-skinned Turkish dude.

But I'll be happy to pair our BWG with a BBG in the back court!

Around the League - Tony Allen is getting some attention from the Knicks, Pacers & Bucks along with the Grizzlies. I don't think that the Grizz will want to pay him as much as one of those teams may offer. I'd put the Bucks as the front-runners with the Pacers right behind them.

Why is Detroit going after Josh Smith? They have Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond at the 4/5.

I can't wait to see Bargs and Amare on the court at the same time for stretches.

Good old Knicks. Yeah, get rid of your deadeye linesman for the worthless chucker.

I really do feel bad for Knicks fans. Trading for the worst player in the league, who just happens to be on a minimax contract as an added bonus.

Funky Dolan Jr should go down in history right next to the Marquis de Sade on history's list of famous sadists.

If they get Evans, Vasqez, Gordon are shipping out soon as soon as they find takers. Rivers might have to stick around since they drafted him.

I'd love to take Vasquez if his 3 pt percentages were better. At 6-6, he can throw entry passes to Dwight all day...

Looks like New Orleans is trying to trade Robin Lopez. Kinda surprising since he had a pretty good year for them, career highs in almost every category.

Dunleavy signed with Chicago.

Their lineup looks strong. Dont know what Ainge was thinking trading with a division rival

Pierce/
Garnett/Plumlee
Lopez/Blatche
Williams/
Johnson/Terry

Any 3-man rotation with Austin "MVP" Rivers is an April Fool's joke. I think Gordon never wanted to play for the Hornets. I know he was hurt but dude was upset when he was traded from the Clips to the much inferior Pelicans. There's no guarantee that the team will remote get close to the playoffs this year.

I don't know about decent. Career 30% shooter from distance, and shot that exact same percentage last season. It seems like he shouldn't be taking so many tbh.
