No more BJ

Post#1 » by Emre1 » Thu Oct 3, 2013 2:35 pm

per wiretap

B.J. Young was waived by the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.

Young, an undrafted guard, had signed a partially guaranteed deal with the Rockets.

Young is now a free agent.

Sad to see him let go.

I think that we'll see him with the Vipers.

Seriously? He played in what, 4 or 5 summer league games?

Yeah I wanted to see him stay too. Thought he could potentially be a viable SG option off the bench instead of those scrubs Reggie Williams and Ronnie Brewer. I hope Aaron Brooks gets the occasional minutes at the 2 as well.

How can you say Young is better than Brewer or Williams? What is that opinion based on?
Garcia will get backup minutes behind Parsons and Harden.

Where did I say Young was better than those two?

If that is not what you meant then please explain that statement

Reggie Williams and Ronnie Brewer are both scrubs, and BJ Young could potentially be better than them down the road if given the chance. Why would I say an undrafted rookie is immediately better than two veterans they just signed?
