Is this a good sign?

Looking around these boards I am seeing an increasing amount of irrational hatred being thrown in the direction of the Rockets and our guys.
This is a good sign, right? Irrational hatred and jealousy tend to mean that your team must be doing something right. Someone ask LeBron, he should be able to confirm that.
Reminder to everyone - our team & fanbase now has a big target on it's backs. Don't get swept up by some out there who get their jollies by trolling. We are at the beginning of an exciting season with one of the most intriguing teams in Basketball.
Enjoy some Rockets basketball!

Yes this is a great sign! It means we are a threat. I remember when everyone wanted the Texans to win and once we became a powerhouse (Disregard the way this season has started) people started to show their true colors praying on our downfall.

I never cease to feel lucky that I'm scant more than a football-as-novelty fan.

lot of hate on Howard, i think most of them are Lakers fans

But seriously, people are allowed their own opinion if expressed in a respectful and constructive manner.
Life is boring when you're force into hivemind(CF) and appeal to authority and appeal to majority.
There is no need for preemptive strikes on future fans. You don't get a medal for being a fan 2 days earlier than that guy after you.
If you fall into the trap of "us fans" and "them fans", you've already lost the argument. This seems to be a nice forum where everyone gets their time to speak.

Harden hate is at an all time high too. First his defense from the Clippers game is being touted as his normal defensive output. Yeah, he is no Paul George on that end, but that was bad even for him. He didn't handle being run off screens over and over very well, but the coaching staff should have seen that and adjusted accordingly. There are things that can be done to counteract that and they did absolutely nothing. I better see some adjustments next game. Now there is the flop fine discussion. I personally think it's funny when guys say things like "see this is why I hate Harden", "his style of play isn't fun to watch", "he is fake star", and "this is why I don't respect him". Guys flop all the time. I don't like it either, but whatever. I read, I laugh a little, and then I move on to the next thread.

It is ridiculous at this point.
Every play, every missed shot, every substitution, every turnover, every win, every loss is completely and totally over-reactionary.
The forums are out of control.

we'll be ok...still very early and the guys are still trying to learn how to play together. in a way, it was kinda good to lose this game and lose like this. now they know about what to re-focus on. first thing is to close out on 3pt shooters more and not give opposing shooters such open looks.
