A must see game. I hope this team gets its turnovers under control soon.

Wonder what the over/under on Harden acting like he has great handles but ends up dribbling the ball off his legs or Parsons with shuffle the feet on a three point fake attempt or Lin getting lost in the trees and trying a jump pass.

If they hackahoward we must hackajordan.

It sure is our first true test of the season.

These days, the Clippers reminds me of heydays of Phoenix Sun when Nash was distributing the rock to his freak athletes in Stoudemire and Marion the BBIq deficiency teammates.

Contain C. Paul as much as we can then we've got this easy.

I know it's easier to said than done but double or triple C. Paul if we needed it to disturb his handle as much as we can at least periodically then the Clips got nothing on us.

the way to beat old Suns is to let Nash score and stop everyone else
it's the same for Paul
whenever he has to do load so scoring his team usually lost

tough game vs a good team with a good coach on the road

for me the key to this game is the bench who ever plays from our bench needs to play good tonight if they do we can win this one

my first game at reliant stadium in over 2 yrs to watch the texans with an open roof and they let the colts come back again. very disappointed. hopefully the rockets will start my mood off better with a win tonite.

Chris P. could score and distribute at will if we let this guy play his game.
They both play a similar game but Chris P. is very comfortable with getting his points while distributing.

But let see how it goes tonight.

I don't expect to see full court double and triple coverage like we saw on Lin against the Heat during his Linsanity days.
But we still need to find a way to minimize his touches or at least make him be uncomfortable with his handles by sending a double or even a triple team periodically.

Let see how it goes, we might not even need this strategy more than likely if Howard and Asik do their defensive assignment accordingly.

Can't wait for the game.

Beverley will be missed... really not looking forward to seeing Brooks on the court this game.

Their perimeter players have been good so far, JJ, Crawford, Dudley. Maybe that clown BJ Mullens gets PT and goes McRoberts tonight.

we need to activate canaan at least...maybe he can finally start showing why we drafted him and hit some 3s...don't know his defense though...i just dont have confidence in brooks. honestly, i just wanna win one of the b2b games. either one is fine with me.

idk if throwing Canaan into the fire would make me feel any better. But I guess if Canaan does play McHale trust has got to count for something... only other rookies I can think of that he just threw in like that were Parsons(OKC) & Bev(LAC/DAL)...
I guess TJones too and I think he got 20 in his first game.

i just hope dwight and asik read the lobs that cp3 will do and stay home...the lobs can get their crowd going. i think mchale should let lin pretty much do much of his D on his own...if you help out too much on cp3, he will find the open man.

Yeah not looking forward to either of Lin, Brooks or Harden guarding Paul or even Reddick. Can't leave Reddick open and I am sure Harden will do just that. Not afraid of the Griffin since all you have to do is not give him a free path to the rim outside of that he is rather ineffective. Jordan is only good for rebounds and defense.

Canaan can play in the D-League i am happy with Lin, Brooks and Bev when he comes back.

Canaan is garbage in preseason
i don't know if he can get a starter job in D-League

I forgot about Brewer. Maybe the Rockets should play more Brewer then Brooks against the Clippers. It’s a good reason to use your defensive specialist

Dudley?
Parsons can guard him just fine
need to keep turnover down
and not let them get easy basket
and of course watch out for the flop
