Hi Guys, I am an Omri Casspi fan (am Israeli) and have only recently started following the Rockets. I noticed that Casspi only took 5 shots during the game against the Lakers, despite the fact that he has been one of the Rockets more reliable shooters/scorers so far this season.

Do you think that Casspi is playing a bit too restrained on offense? I know he is a lot of deficiencies as a player, but do you think it might be worth turning him loose and letting him take more shots, play more aggressively?

Also, what have been your impressions of his play so far?

Casspi has been a revelation for this team so far this year. Tonight was a bad game...but there was a lot of that going around.

Casspi & Garcia will be two of the keys defining the Rockets success this year. I think that Garcia has a clear role - he is the "veteran" (at a ripe old age of....31? )

I think that Casspi is setting himself up as the primary big off of the bench. I like what I've seen so far and hope that this continues to be a situation where he will thrive.

Casspi is about the same as Delfino was last year but at a fraction of the cost and Delfino is hurt right now so it's good that he chose Milwaukee instead of us. That said, Delfino's dunk on Durant was the best play of last season.

Personally, I'd much rather have Casspi at his present performance than Delfino at last year's performance.

Delfino did a nice fill-in job, all things considered, but he was far from great.
That dunk of his wasn't bad though, yeah.

Hard to evaluate Casspi just playing 6 games for us so far. Yeah he's much better suited to stretch 4 than Delfino just because of his height but will have to wait awhile to compare the two completely.

At least he won't be eating Manu's dirty sausage the night before games against Spurs. Although if we play Dallas keep him away from Gal Mekel's kosher kielbasa.

i'm just tired of watching Delfino run pick and roll and doing the back dribble
it always look like he's going to turn the ball over

Delfino is not on Casspi's level.
Casspi has been amazing, and so has Cisco they have been the biggest treat so far.

I had this thought that wow Cisco & Casspi seem to get along well, then I remember they were teammates before , so they should have a rapport.

I don't know what you mean by turning Casspi loose. He's going to get his shots in the flow of the offense, vs recovering defenses and things like that. He's not the type of player who is going to iso a lot and create shots for himself.

i dont know..i like fino more..he was cold blooded...timely 3s

Production per dollar, Casspi is the best player on the team so far. *small sample size*

Casspi is my favorite new rocket

Take him over delfino 10x out of 10

Lin/Garcia/casspi/jones(he preferably starts) or motie or smith/Asik (please dear god quit the Asik/Howard starting line up)

Is easily the best bench in the league...can't think of a better one

Casspi's job is to stretch the floor and shoot open 3s. His shot attempts will fluctuate depending on how the defense plays him. Shooting or not, he's spacing the floor just by standing out there. I say he's doing a pretty good job.

Casspi has been really good so far. It's early, but a very nice surprise.
