ESPN Power Rankings (Week 4)
http://espn.go.com/nba/powerrankings

#8 Houston Rockets 9-5
Wise move by the Rockets to grant James Harden some rest to deal with foot pain that's been bugging him since mid-October. Trickier to tackle when Harden gets back: Making sure Chandler Parsons, such a dangerous passer, sees enough of the ball as the Rockets' third option behind The Beard and Dwight.

#16 Atlanta Hawks 8-6
Only three teams in the East have winning records. Only four have positive nightly point differentials. So it's tough to hammer the Hawks too hard -- even after a disappointing home loss to Boston -- when they're on both short lists. Amid all those East underachievers, at least they're achieving.

All the news has been that he would be out 2 games... it has been two games. But then they will evaluate his foot.

If he isn't going to play then I'll switch the image with http://i.imgur.com/1mxP7fq.png

Recent News
James Harden is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Hawks due to his sore foot that has kept him out of the last two games.

It looks like we're heading toward a game-time decision on Harden and the Rockets could be getting to the point where they'd rather just shut him down until the injury is fully healed. Hopefully we'll have an answer well before game time on Wednesday night.

Love the Rocket when Harden is out. Much more ball movement.

At least no one demand the ball everytime the ball get to half court. Parson does it occasional and I don't know why he does it, not like he is wide open. He is terrible with the ball.

He was 8 for 9 last night. He is also a much better and willing passer than Harden.

Maybe if they were playing in Atlanta... but Houston fans attending the game would like to see him play. Plus, I'm sure every pro always wants to play.

This should be a really good test for the Rockets, but is also a game they should win.

It seems to be what is en vogue right now.

This team is not a better team without James Harden. He is the best player on this team by a pretty wide margin. Yeah, he needs to make some adjustments to his game, but I feel pretty confident that he will do so. It really doesn't help that he's been playing hurt so far this season.

The big knock on him is holding onto the ball too much. He does need to improve upon that, but at the end of the game he is the guy I want with the ball in his hands.

Hawks fan here. Wish we could give you a good game but we're crumbling at the end, lately, starting right about the midway point in the 3rd. I have no explanation for this and it's come against 2 lousy teams: BOS and ORL. Apparently, all y'all will have to do is keep it close till then.

We'll be glad to miss Harden, however, as SGs murder us.

I mean i criticize alot of our players regularly. I'm not happy with Harden's effort on defense or Dwight's unwillingness to set hard screen but to say we are better without either of them? Thats insane. Wacko.

They're our 2 best players and team only goes as far as their best players take them.

Team is winning without Harden. That is a good thing. It shows that Harden has to play in the system and trust his teammates.

I don't think anyone is saying the team is better without Harden. Not when Harden plays 100% anyway.
