Wow, that is really bad

I was looking at the standings Yesterday after the Spurs game. And I noticed that two teams in the Eastern conference have a positive W/L ratio, (Indiana and Miami) everyone else is negative.
I thought about this for a while, and I came to this conclusion.
The East really sucks!
Look, I think a few teams will turn that around. But why is it, that the East sucks so bad? They always have 2 really good teams, and the rest just sucks.
I had a look at the Knicks board today, there wasn't even a game thread for the Pelicans. Their Brooklyn game was 2 pages long. Not happy fans is the nicest way to describe the feeling there. (I didn't troll, even I wouldn't kick a man when he's down like that........ Unless it's Dallas or Utah, but that goes without saying.)

Yeah I usually like to compare our records in our conference to those in the East. For example I remember at some point last year we were ranked 9th in the West. Yet if we were to be sectioned in the East with the same record we would've been ranked 4th.

I feel bad for the Knicks fans (the real, true fans - not the bandwagoners). That owner of theirs is flat out terrible for that franchise. After the McGrady trade they actually opened up some flexibility and in the past few seasons that has dried up quickly.
We have the Stepien Rule for draft picks...maybe we need a Dolan Rule of some kind.

It's cause most of the East's GM's suck assssssssssssss.
Look for Toronto to turn around within 5 years if Masai sticks around, maybe the same with Philly, but we'll see...
Why hasn't Pritchard been rehired yet??

the only reason why some east team has better winning pct is because they played against the league worst more

The East is so weak the Pacers can clinch a playoff birth by the end of January

Yes, it's really bad. But aren't you former Bucks fans used to this by now?
As for Knicks fans, the post game show emphasized they were only 3 games away from Division leader. LOL.
The Knicks vs Nets game will be epic.

Being in the West means getting to the Finals is easier. I mean in that you won't play the Heat in rounds 1-3.
Not that OKC, SA or LAC are pushovers but they aren't the reigning 2 time world champs or have the league MVP.
If your goal is just to make the playoffs then yeah it's better to be in the East.

Only problem is by the time the west get to the final, whoever that might be, will be broken and tire. No chance against Pacers or Heats.

No chance? Spurs were within seconds of winning the series.

Bandwagoners can turn into loyal fans. For instance, many people in my country are die hard Bulls fans because of MJ. I know many Chinese are super Lakers fans because of Kobe. The Rockets gained huge fanbase and popularity not just in China but in Asia because of Yao. This is one of the reasons why the Rockets acquired Lin. There are millions of people around the world who become a fan of a team because of a certain player. I'm pretty sure you're an individual who doesn't discriminate people but the fact that you used the term "bandwagoner" doesn't really make you look good imo.

You know what? I can't argue with that. This may seem like a cop-out, but I think that I am guilty of poor word choice here. Instead of "bandwagon" I should have said "fair weather." In some circumstances those terms are interchangeable, but not in all situations.
My intent with that comment was that I feel bad for those fans of the Knicks who bleed orange & gold like I bleed Rockets Red. When I used the "bandwagon" term in my post I was stating my disdain for those fans who only support a team when they are winning. "Fairweather" is the better term, and I acknowledge that.
