Charles Barkley is ripping Dwight on national tv. Chuck says D12 is just a "good player", not great. Do you guys agree?

They were all praising him at half-time...

I agree with what Kenny had to say.

DH is borderline great. His problem is that he has weaknesses that can be exposed with the right kind of team. True greats could never really be stopped. They might have a bad game here and there but it wasn't due to the other guy...it was due to an off night.

But put a big body that can move DH out of the post and a team that rebounds well and he can become a non factor.

No shock but Howard has been the best rocket all season.

Yao owned Dwight in 1v1s, and it wasn't even close, but if you'd given me the pick of them at their 2005 levels, I'd take Dwight every time.

Mark Eaton regularly ate Hakeem's lunch in the 80s, would you have rathered had him?

I don't know what's wrong with this team right now, but I do agree that Dwight can be completely negated at times right now.

they are afraid to pass him the ball in 4th quarter afraid they're going to do hackadwight (isn't that's the point, put them in foul trouble?)
i rather put him on the line than watching haren launching 26 ft 3 pts
like i say this is first round exit team because they can't score in half court against elite team
playoff is all about half court defense that's why phoenix didn't get to the final

Bad point guard play is the biggest problem and I can't wait to get Beverly back.

You have problem if you think Beverley is better than Lin or even AB.

Beverley is a disregard player on offense. The other team just leave Beverley all the time. Yes, that how bad Beverley is.

Back to the topic.

What was that media keep saying McHale this and that to big man. Has anyone has any footage of McHale showing any big man any good move. Or have some big man like Love actually say positive thing about McHale after he got fired?

Dwight Howard in two games versus Perk this season: 20 pts on 9-26 shooting, and a -38. Perk is a +40 in 49 minutes.

Who's your Daddy D12?

Can't say that now man. Contracts are so short, and players shuffle teams so quickly - there's no such thing as city or team loyalty anymore.

yes that was exactly my point that in absence of player based rivalries we may continue to enjoy fan based rivalries....

Is it just me, or do some of you even think Asik is a better player than Dwight Howard at least at times? I mean last year I remember Asik just defended so well against any centers in the NBA, also he catches the pass so well and dunked the ball so many times.

Howard, to me, seems like more of a flashy guy. This year, I just saw way too many Howard turnovers, and it isn't even funny. I guess Asik knows his rule and fully utilizes his strength. Howard, I don't know man. Bottom line is, I still hope we can keep Asik if possible. He was a warrior for us last year.
