I haven't been this excited for a movie since...well, since the last time we had Bradley Cooper playing the role of a gun-toting Raccoon...

they need to introduce the 6 infinity gems to set up avengers 3
#1 avengers
#2 thor 2
#3 guardians of galaxy (look like it from trailer - the orb)
#4 avengers 2 (maybe)
#5 some movie in 2016 (guardians of galaxy 2)
#6 some movie in 2017
avengers 3 in 2018
or they can do avengers 3 in 2017 and introduce 3 in 2015/16

end of avengers show thanos is behind all this
loki has the tesseract
collector has the aether and he is in guardians of the galaxy
the orb can be another one

Those of you whom don't know who these characters are, and how they came about, the best way to read about this is thumb through the Annihlation:Conquest storyline. The bigger players in this arch were mostly guys that were unearthed from the Marvel archives. What happened after this particular arch was that the marvel writers discovered that they had some really interesting characters to play with. So they rebooted the Guardians of Galaxy group (which the intricacies are kinda clever) and now you have another super group that are mostly a bunch of misfits.

The trailer doesn't look bad. It offers a few winks and nudges to the comic book fan base. The origin storyline is not bad, the GoG 2008-2010 arch is okay. Both can be had from the internet at the normal places.

I am still so freaking giddy over the fact that Rocket Raccoon & Groot are teaming up with Andy Dwyer to fight the Nova Corps!

All I know is that we are about to see a movie with Rocket Raccoon, Groot, the Nova Corps, Gamora and so many other things I never thought that we'd see on the silver screen!

GoG is the best Action Adventure Comedy of Marvel, hands down. Should be a good rumble.
