Wait so we cut Pittman already? If so what were scouts doing where we sign someone to cut a good player only to cut the signed player a few days later?

If were gonna sign a Powell or a Pittman why not try fab melo? I assume they're all about the same amount of usefulness and at least fab is the youngest and has the coolest name?

i think they didn't think powell will be eligible for the playoff
but he was clear by fiba so they signed him already
i read he is good friend of howard so i think he might be the one pushing for him

What the heck??? Couldn't they have this figured out a few days earlier? Sounds like fail to me.

It'll be interesting to see how the list dwindles down to, since we're only allowed to cull 12 players altogether from Active, Injured, Suspended.

These are the guys that will make it:

Harden, Beverly, Howard, Parsons, TJ, Lin, Asik

These guys will likely make it:

Motie, Garica, Casspi.

So the remaining two spots are going to be split between:

Powell, Hamilton, Daniels, Canaan, Covington

I guess Powell's the insurance policy? Covington is probably out. I think we need a third point so I'll go with Canaan.

NBA rosters are 13 active players now instead of 12. And I think they've changed the rules for the playoffs too where you can designate 2 inactive players for each game.

Last year's playoffs the Spurs used all 15 players

well that article is dated 2001 so yeah they should probably update it.

well that article is dated 2001 so yeah they should probably update it.
