Defense was confused and non-existent.

Just shaking my head.
1) Why are we negotiating matchups at the very last second, and Harden being the one orchestrating it? Shouldn't this have been addressed by the coach during the full time-out?
2) Even after the matchup change, the guys had no idea whether they should switch again off the double screen on Lillard, hence the reason why Bev goes under Mo Williams shouldering Parsons with the full responsibility of guarding Lillard.
3) Chandler looks shocked when Lillard starts taking off, and thinks "shoot...maybe I should go after him." What did you think he was going to do? Receive a catch and shoot from that very spot?
4) What was TJones doing jumping up and down to block the pass to the basket? I thought McHale said no 3's during the time out, so shouldn't he be blocking the lane to the perimeter and not the basket? Many think that there shouldn't be an inbound defender under this circumstance in the first place.
This play couldn't have failed in any more ways than it did. The worst is that McHale discussed it in the post-game conference as if it was played out perfectly and that Lillard just made the shot. Gee, I wonder why he was able to get such a nice clean look with .9 seconds left on the clock?

Thanks for the honesty.MorbidHEAT wrote:My dislike for Lin started during Linsanity. It was absurd. It's probably irrational dislike at this point, but man he gets on my nerves. He's been tearing us up though.

The worst defense I have ever seen.
It was bad enough that Mo Williams was able to screen both Bev and Chandler.
However it was worst when Harden didn't even move even though he can clearly see that Lillard had broke loose and Chandler running after him. It was like if he did not want to move his head to the right to see how open Lillard was and even try to challenge the shot.
I swear, dude is like the worst and laziest defensive player I have ever seen, and over 20 years I have seen plenty.

* Since 1985, Jeremy Lin became one of 15 players to have scored at least 20 points, seven assists and a steal for six games in a row, including 136 points in 5 starts beating out Iverson, Jordan and O'Neal
