Great trade for both teams. Surprised the Lakers are sending cash instead of receiving cash though

Would have made more sense to use Asik as they asset to get someone to pay Jeremy's salary.

Either way, Jeremy is a good player and a good guy, but I'm hoping his fans leave here and don't come back. Right now they're saying how great things are going to be for him next year, but by January they'll be coming up with conspiracies, complaining that Nash is starting, hating Kobe, and picking the next "perfect" location for him.

Win/win, everyone is happy.

Goodbye to those people until the Rockets play the Lakers. OMG if he goes off FTW

Eh, if anything this is good for all parties.

Rockets get cap space to sign Bosh.
Lakers get an asset and an expiring contract so they have cap space next year.
Lin gets to play a lot of minutes and possibly inflate his stats on a bad team, which is good because it's a contract year.

Everybody wins.

YES!!! FINALLY!!

As a lifetime Laker fan, I couldn't ask for a better trade!

It's been fun guys...I know most people think of me as a LOF, but I followed Houston relentlessly for 2 years, watching nearly every game, and some of my favorite players (Asik and Parsons) were on the team along with Lin...and I grew to appreciate the team. The playoffs were devastating for me.

I still hate Harden and McFail with a passion, though.

Either way...you won't have to deal with me anymore. Take care everyone and good luck next season!
