What the hell do you want Dwight to say? "We lost Parsons and Lin, we're ****?"
Actually, wait, that's probably what you do want him to say.

Who the **** cares?
Maybe you should post on the Lakers board, if you're looking for people who feel similarly.

Howard is not wrong. I only found it entertaining when Howard called himself the best center in the NBA. It was like 2 sentences and the first 1 he brings up how good he is.
Humble guy, dat Howard.
He tend to say obvious things that other people would let their action speak for them.
Howard need to lay off the tweets and stuff for awhile.

What're you talking about, Howard has always been as humble as they came. The man's ego is nearly non existent.
/endsarcasm
PS: Coming from a long time Dwight Howard fan.

The proper thing for him to say in this situation is "we will miss them a lot but we will adapt. I trust in our front office to get us the help that we need to compete for a championship" something like that.

The proper comment would be "Its Dwight Howard, nothing he does will ever be correct" If Dwight said what you wrote people, would still bash him for being boring for being pc.
OP also twisting words, the question was just about Parsons & apparently Dwight is excited about Ariza as we all should be if he is the defensive player he was last year.
Howard, 28, said the addition of Ariza was "big" for the Rockets.
"He'll go through a wall for you," Howard said of Ariza, who was his teammate on the Orlando Magic. "Just to have soldiers on your team like that is great. We have that one-two punch with me and James. We're filling out our roster with guys who are willing to go through that wall and doing whatever it takes to win."
Not that serious, Dwight putting the team on those broad shoulders making Harden accountable and leading the team. Don't worry Dwight got this.

Nick Johnson is the next Chandler BANG AKA 2nd round steal !
Ariza will do fine and I expect D-Mo to become a big part of the offense off the bench as a 25 mpg type of player.

Rockets will be much better team defensively than last yr

Ariza may be better D than Parsons
but Asik was huge for us on that end and I don't think DMo, Dorsey, Adrien can easily fill his shoes.

What about Beverley then? Nick Johnson does look pretty good to me too.
D-mo will do fine as long as he control his fouls.

They will be fine...i think we should be much better at defensive rebounds with adrien and dorsey unlike last yr....also, there still are a few months left before the reg season...possible trades and signings to deal with...even during season, we can see movement.
Good thing is that Johnson, Canaan, and DMO played well this summer. If they keep it up during the season along with Tjones, they will be desired by other teams should a trade opportunity occur.

Bev will be Bev, a nightmare for the opposing team.
I mentioned the other guys because they are new to the team and D-Mo, if used properly, could become a integral part of the 2nd unit.
And Nick Johnson, just look at this guy, imagine him and Beverley on the court together:

We'll have a ton of:

Between Caanan, Nick Johnson, & Ariza, I think we can make up for the loss of Parsons/Lin. Asik is going to be hard to replace but he didn't play for half the year anyways.
Still hope we can get Shawn Marion or someone to start at the 4

I don't like doing crystal ball predictions, I will watch the preseason and see what happens from there on.
SL had some mixed results. One thing I didn't like was how they went exclusively to heroball and 3 pts when the game was on the line. And with predicable results.
I guess if the team is going full ISOBEARD and 3pt chuck for entire season, then there will be no loss of Parsons/Lin.
Howard might not be too happy though.
