I wish you guys good health this year and success out in the loaded west, but outside of that, I want my Celtics to annihilate you tonight.

Appreciate the kind words but we are on a mission.. and we don't play until Saturday. I just needed to get the thread up.
Don't be too sad when the Rockets destroy the Celtics.. There will be more games

Wolverine vs. Rondo should be fun to watch.
Thanks for getting the game thread started, Nebula1!

Dont be surprised to see Marcus Smart steal the ball from Harden and give him fits tonight. He laid into Deron Williams and Joe johnson on defense on Wednesday. had 4 clean swipes almost 5 but he kicked the ball after. I'm hoping he keeps harden below his ppg average of 24 which would be a nice sign. I expect Houston to draw a lot of fouls tonight down low on our bigs. Should be a good game. I'm all over this tonight.

I don't know what they've got planned for tonight, but as long as it doesn't happen Saturday night we should be good.

Still nothing on Captain
http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2 ... 27967101=0While the Rockets waited for word on whether point guard Pat Beverley would miss time with a strained right hamstring, they braced themselves for the possibility that they would need to make a major change to their rotation in the season’s first week for a second-consecutive season.
Last season, Beverley went out with an abdominal injury in the first game. This season, he left the second game with five minutes remaining because of the hamstring injury.
The injury was not considered serious, but no timetable was given for his return or expected until Friday.
Jason Terry finished Wednesday’s game at the point with Beverley out.
“I think between myself and Isaiah (Canaan), and we still have Troy (Daniels) to help out some, we’ll be good,” Terry said.
“That’s a part of basketball,” forward Trevor Ariza said of the possibility Beverley would have to miss time. “It sucks for him. It sucks for our team, but if that happens, we have to figure out ways and find ways to get it done.”

rockts shouldnt take them lightly. they should make some noise in the east with rondo healthy. they have a good supprting cast. it all hinges on rondo tho, who i went all in for my fantasy teams so HE WILL deliver! already has a double double

He'll lead the league in triple doubles this year by a landslide. He was 3 rebounds short of a triple double first game back from injury

He had a number of games last year when he just came back from ACL where he needed 1-2 points/rebounds for a triple double.

Howdy folks. Not too much to say as I expect the Rockets to probably win.
All I'll say is that if we play you way tougher than you expected and you have to play your starters way more than you wanted to in order to pull out a close one in the last minutes, don't be too down on yourselves.
Rondo's one of the few players remaining in the league who, insanity or not, still wants to
beat the other stars, rather than join them...
