What can't he do on the floor?..

- Great defense (everywhere on the floor)
- Great court-vision
- Great screens/PnR game
- Great post-game
- Runs like a gazelle
- Not a ballhog, keeps offense moving
- Can occasionally hit a corner three

I mean... He's really raising his trade value. If he keeps this level of production, a lot of teams will get interested, if they aren't already.

He has been progressing steadily, but has really taken off with his expanded role. Forget trades - he is increasing his value to this team!

Remember his first interview at Houston? He said he could give Howard a run for his money and I believed him.

Dude was wasting his talent at the Rockets, and still is.

For someone who claims to be a Rockets fan you sure do seem to hate the team.

I was high on him at 1st because of his work ethic & he said all the right things... then I soured, I wasn't patient.

Yes. He has been magnificent of late. They should continue letting him play this way when Howard returns. They could definitely use the extra scoring. I am a huge fan of Jones, but..........

Not at all, I still see the same player now as he was from back then so it's not like he's improved immensely. Imagine the tangent of Asik+DMO, creative and hardworking basketball right there.

I remember the 3 game stretch when Scola finally "got it". You could see it all click for him. He finally got comfortable with the speed of the NBA game and how he could thrive within it.

This is Moti's 3 game stretch. He finally gets it.

Leave your Rockets trolling on the GB. D-Mo wasn’t “wasting his talent” on the Rockets -- I know you've never watched the Rockets outside of Jeremy Lin highlights which is why you always say preposterous things about them on the GB, but D-Mo has come a long way from back when he was falling awkwardly all over the place, getting pushed around, and just being an overall non-factor so many times when he got playing time early on. Credit to him for looking like he's finally getting it and really coming into his own these past couple weeks. He has had good games here and there before, but things seem to be clicking for him now as he's strung together a very good stretch of basketball, averaging 14.8 points on 58.9% shooting, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in the last 5 games. He is playing exceptional defense, making spectacular passes, and effectively scoring in the post now that he's not rushing things so much and playing under so much better control. I'm loving D-Mo's play right now and anxious to see if Wednesday he puts up an improved showing from the last time he faced that formidable Grizzlies front line. Seeing the development of our young guys like him and Canaan has been awesome to watch, especially when people like you bashed the Rockets all offseason for how terrible their depth was and how their ship was going to sink so badly after losing Lin and Parsons.

I was really high on him initially cause of his skill, confidence and work ethic. It's nice to see him finally putting it altogether.

Interesting that you mention it. Didn't Motiejunas say Scola was his idol growing up?

dmo problem in the past is he can't stay out of foul trouble
always picking stupid blocking foul
he still has problem on pick and roll defense
but as long harden is rotation on defense we are fine

dmo's rox career is on the line ever since he got the start and will continue to be on the line as long as tjones is out. i think rox will decide if he is the future PF or not once tjones returns...obviously, tjones could be moved too. i think 3 yrs is long enough to decide his fate with the team. then again, if he plays very well, he could be favorable to rox in getting a good offer too during trade talks.

I was always high on DMo.. still one of my fav Rockets. i think a lot of people saw his potential early on. was pissed McHale didn't give him any consistent playing time his rookie year to get any rhythm going... which would be fine except he was playing behind the likes of Pat Pat and Greg Smith. he finally got a few starts which I was ecstatic for but only to be benched again and out of the rotation until later last season, but then was pulled completely for the playoffs, who could have at least helped some since his body type is probably better fitted for guarding LMA than Jones or Asik.

Didn't know D-Mo was one of your favorite Rockets in addition to Patrick Beverley. You're missing out on some good Rockets games now that you've become a Lakers fan instead.

Now if he'd just completely abandon the 3 point shot...
