Hey Rockets fans I made a video analyzing how on defense they double team the post. You can tell their well coached and do a good job. What are your thoughts on how they execute this? and thanks for watching.

Just to be clear I meant on doubling the post. Haven't seen enough of the Rockets to judge the other aspects of their game. But on doubling the post they do a nice job and are precise. Some teams don't double the post right at all.

Overall, the Rockets are playing strong defense with Howard on the floor.

All jokes aside, credit is due. Rockets have been a much better defense team this year, both in actual stats (#3 defensive efficiency in west) and in the eye test.
The most impact has probably been getting Brewer, Smith and Ariza. All good veteran defensive players. A huge upgrade over Lin and Parsons. Harden has also been making an effort to play defense. Lastly, we have Dunn as assistant coach now instead of Sampson. Houston was a good defense team under Adelman and Dunn was a big reason why.

Bickerstaff gets some credit as well, but I totally agree about the player upgrades. Both Jones and Motiejunas have been better as well and of course Beverley is still a very strong defender at the point of attack.
