Calvin Murphy is the worst color commentary announcer I've ever heard. He is literally unbearable.

He's a breath of fresh air compared to Drexler

Drexler is just incredibly biased right? I can't listen to Murphy at all, there is no intelligence whatsoever with that dude.

Drexler either repeats everything Bill/Bull says or speaks in cliches. Calvin at least has his own opinion even though his voice reminds me of Austin Carr and Stacey King :-?

While fighting for a loose ball, his rib hit an opponent's knee. I recall it happening in the 1st quarter.

broken one rib, punctured lung
he's going to be out for awhile

reading online
worst case can be 2-3 months
we will know more tomorrow

is it something wrong with howard and tjones?
we can't seem to have both on the court at the same time this season

I can see how an outsider would say that but 99% of Houston fans love him. This wasn't really a fair game to judge him on anyway since most of the time they weren't even watching the game and talking with Silver, Elie and Rudy T. Plus he hasn't done it in over a decade.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

If he's out for the playoffs, do we just roll with a questionable Dwight, D-Mo, Smith and Dorsey (and Capella) as our bigs? Or do we sign McGee? Jeff Adrien is also available now that Guangdong has been eliminated from CBA Playoffs. He rebounded pretty well off the bench for that team which also had Yi Jianlan, Will Bynum and next year's NBA ROY Emmanuel Mudiay.

Do we waive KJ McDaniels? Prigioni? Don't think we should waive Dorsey if Jones is down.

Where did you hear this? I searched online I couldn't find anything other than "he's going to be out for a bit".

Speaking from personal experience, I hurt during a basketball game and it definitely hurt. That being said, I stayed in the game and didn't notice any bruising until the next day. Was pretty painful for a few weeks, but x-rays said no fracture. Seems like Jones was in a lot more pain than that so I wouldn't be surprised if he fractured it or even worse.

This. I noticed this too. I thought wow he looks like he's mid-late 30's...then I check Google and turns out he's almost 50 lol. Can say the same for Olajuwon. He looks like he could put up 10/5 in 24 MPG and he's 52!

Both those guys look younger than a lot of people do in their early 30s. It's nuts. I'll have what they're having.
