wth... Why is it everytime I visit realgm there is bad news for the Rockets?
The leagues oldest pg rotation in an era where every team seems like they have a beast at the 1... Start Brewer?
And what happened to Papanikolauo, I feel like I haven't seen him on the bench in a while. He is probably done for the season too... smh

I knew it was bad as soon as I saw it. I thought he broke it the way he held it.
I'm kinda missing Canaan right now.

I think Harden's gonna have to play some PG now. With our crowded front court rotation, maybe some lineups with Josh Smith at the 3?
Playoff rotation:
PG - Terry (24) Prigioni (12) Harden (12)
SG - Harden (26) Brewer (22)
SF - Ariza (34) Brewer (6) Smith (8)
PF - D-Mo (8) T.Jones (26) Smith (14)
C - Dwight (32) D-Mo (16)
Seems like a reasonable way to distribute the minutes to our best players. I would even prefer giving Terry less time if Harden could play PG on a more regular basis, but I'm not sure if that would work out or not. Brewer/Ariza can defend most point guards, Terry can't guard a chair so I can see us having a lot of issues against playoff teams. We'll see how things work out.

forget position played
harden is the playmaker with or without beverley
the thing is guarding opponent pg
you don't want harden to do that
we have see ariza guarding cp3
now is time to play mcdaniels
howard will not play in back to back and will be limited to 20 min playing time
in playoff harden will play 40+ mpg

bev wont be missed much on the offensive end but defense he will. prigs and terry wont be able to do jack on d in the playoffs. hopefully priggs can make for it with some playmaking since he's the only real pg on the team. terry a vet he should step up in the playoffs and hit those threes.
if bev can play through it even at 70-80% he shouldnt hesitate and just patch it up and play ball!

At least Prigioni is a crafty defender, whereas Terry can't play defense at all. That being said, tonight they were both horrendous on the offensive end. We're gonna need more production out of the PG spot to have a chance to contend.

I think it's safe to assume he's done unless the Rockets get deeper into the Playoffs.
That said, if Prigs and Terry can get blazing hot from 3, that would be just fine.

Does the Rockets have the oldest PG rotation in the history of the NBA with Terry and Prigioni?
In the playoffs, theres no reason why we can't play Harden at the 1 with Brewer/Ariza on the wing. They haven't done it so far but i'm hoping Mchale is saving it as his secret weapon.

rockets might set the record for the oldest pg rotation in history for the playoffs. rox will defend the fastest position in the playoffs with a couple of old guys.
or they can start brewer, remember that a more-than-serviceable kostas papa is on their team and give him 15mpg, and not panic about the bench cuz dmo and smith will be there. too late to mess with the lineup but i think its worht a lsat ditch effort

OK so who do we want Prigierry to play against? Rajon Rondo, Chris Paul, Tony Parker or Damian Lillard? Pretty sure no chance of us meeting Westbrook and OKC in the first round. I guess Rondo since he's not as big an offensive threat as the others.

of course Rondo
we can put Harden on Rondo
just leave him open from 15 feet out

they have used that line up 1 time this season to close a game/like final 5 minutes of the game .. dont remember the opponent i think it was vs @ detroit or @clippers or @pelicans / i dont really remember the opponent we loss that game but 1000% sure they close a game having
pg harden sg brewer sf ariza
they looked ok not great
.........
talking about prigioni and terry being old and not very good
terry is playing out of position ,,, prigioni hes just not very talented
im thinking we may have another troy daniels similar story in nick johnson in the playoffs
---------------------------
everyone saying we are ok harden is a playmaker we dont need a true poing guard
are wrong ... we are not ok ... even with beverly we are not ok at the 1

Remember this rotation?
1996-1997
28 Brent Price
25 Matt Maloney
21 Randy Livingston
28 Emanual Davis
26 Elmer Bennett
35 Sedale Threatt (16 mpg!)
That year was UGH-LEE.
