there's no way he's gonna turn down mle money. if rockets really go through with this then he's the starting pg next year.

kostas' value is at 3mil per, assuming w/e team he's on gives him a fair chance to play. they traded for scola and that worked out so they know how to scout euro players. if they think lol is the answer at pg then i'll go with it but daam the wait is gonna kill me.

The McDaniels Canaan trade was worse.
This is the second year Pat got hurt and we regretted trading away a point guard.

Don't care until it happens and it's likely not very relevant once it is.

i guess Morey's Plan A is:
stay over the cap
-re-sign Brewer (we got his Bird's right)
-exercise Papa 2nd year option
-spend MLE on Llull
-since JSmoove already got his money from Detroit maybe he will re-sign for veteran minimum
-as always draft best available regard of position
then our roster will look like this
C - Howard, TJones, Dorsey
PF - DMo, JSmoove, Capela
SF - Ariza, Papa
SG - Harden, Brewer
PG - Llull, Prigioni, Johnson

...and draft Jerian Grant.

I'd like to see a PG rotation of: Bev, Grant and Terry next season. I think Terry has been great for this team and would offer him another 1 year deal.

Obviously Llull needs to stay in the conversation in the event Morey can't execute other priorities.

Jerian Grant over Kris Dunn?

I happen to love Grant, so I would take him over Dunn, but I would not be unhappy with a Dunn selection either.

Grant seems to be more mature, better as pg
Dunn is more athletic, more like a combo guard

My thoughts as well. To me, Grant is a point guard, through and through and would be a strong boost to the Rockets roster.
