seriously?
people are out of their mind
fans don't think this is a big deal because you understand meaning of those emoji
for none basketball fans they don't know
all they see is a horse and a gun pointing at it
that's like promoting killing animal
which is not appropriate on social media

I hope dude gets a good gig out of all this. It's amazing how righteous some people can be and have a total lack of humor.

I just thought it was a reference to something like Old Yeller, taking the animal out back to put them down.

That's what Chad said this morning on 610. He said it was putting the Mavs out to pasture.

And it was funny and he was paid to be edgey and even after 4 years of work, they just let him go like some cowards. Maybe it wasn't "classy" but hardly a fireable offense imo.

Well too bad. It's social media and people need to stop taking themselves so seriously.

Les is a big time animal rights activist. Chad should know and respect that.

Putting a horse out to pasture doesn't mean you shoot them.

look at the tweet again
what is your first impression if you know nothing about the playoff

"close your eye it will be over soon"
you have a gun emoji pointing at a horse emoji
you tell me you don't think that's killing the horse?

I wasn't addressing the tweet. I was disagreeing with the author's comment on the radio about putting the mavs out to pasture. I'm talking about the literal meaning of that expression, which has nothing to do with shooting horses. Basically I am agreeing with you and criticizing him for using that expression as an excuse for his poor judgement. Understand?

I think the text is actually more disturbing than the emojis. It's like what a murderer or rapist says to his victim.
