Thibodeau as assistant coach?

Post#1 » by inquisitive » Mon May 11, 2015 10:27 pm

Thibs is pretty much out of Chicago when the post season ends. If Bickerstaff finds a head coaching gig this summer at a college level or is gone, do you see Thibodeau willing to come here as part of McHale's staff? Would Thibs be willing to fill the role as assistant on the Rockets? Or will he seek a head coaching role elsewhere? He would shore up their defense at least.

let's fire McHale and make Thib as head coach
we should've name him the head coach after JVG in the first place

I thought you were against Thibs being HC.

McHale isn't going to get fired unfortunately.

Thibs will find a HC job somewhere. Toronto? Orlando? Brooklyn? Charlotte?
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

lol why would Thibs become an assistant coach? If the Bulls let him go, multiple teams will be lining up for his services.

Yeah, Thibs is going to get another HC gig for sure.

That said, losing Bickerstaff would be a major problem for the Rockets.

Rockets would need an offensive assistant more than a defensive assistant. Given the right players, McHale has been able to come up with a good defensive unit.
