Looks like Bev is gone if this happens. Sergio should buyout his own contract over there. 5.6mil is a lot of dough.

Yeah, why not? Beverley would still serve the same purpose he always has. I guess it really just depends on if someone else wants to overpay him. I think Beverley's worth a 15-18 mil/3 yr deal.

I like this.

And I hope that they keep Beverley.

I'm cool with Llull or Lawson.

Lawson is more of a known commodity in the NBA, but I've been wanting to bring Llull over for years, so I'm ready for this move!

So, who would be the third PG? Bring back Terry or Prigioni? Draft a rookie?

Im fine with either Lull or Lawson, but the Rockets dont have to lose any assets to land Llull. The Rockets could use assets to fill other needs instead of using it to land Lawson. Either way, I trust Morey will make the best decision.

Good point about not losing assets that could be used elsewhere.

I'm with you on the trust factor. I'm just looking forward to the headlines and I'll leave the speculation to others.

...that said...I can't shake the feeling that a certain former Rocket may return...

I will say no more.

Please no more Jason Terry. Prigioni is under contract for next year but only a small portion is guaranteed so he could get cut for the savings.

If we don't take a PG at 18 we should take Andrew Harrison at 32.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

If you guys finally sign Sergio Llull, you're going to love him, he will be a crowd favourite, I'm sure about it. As a Real Madrid fan, it would be a great loss for the team, but I want him to sign with the Rockets, he deserves a big contract for everything he has put on the floor for us. He is a hard worker, very emotional guy, he has become a very good shooter and he has always been very very fast. Plus I don't know how, but he manages to make amazing shots to beat the buzzer. He is lucky or have that special talent. ---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koibm3x8Uf8

Prigioni could be the perfect third point guard. Veteran, clever, he is not going to be scared of anybody,...

we traded two 2nd round picks for Prigioni, that's an expensive half season rental (Morey doesn't care because he feel he can always buy 2nd round pick, i feel the trade is more for cutting the salary cap down)
i actually rather keep Terry than Prigioni
Terry is better vocal leader (i'm not asking him to play every game, he'll play if necessary as 3rd PG for veteran minimum)
Morey already say we will draft best available

Why? This is different than VSpan in 2006 where we had Rafer Alston playing 37mpg as well as Luther Head playing 28mpg. If Llull comes I think he is the automatic starter, whether or not Bev is back.

I don't think so. I would say his physical conditions would make him a better NBA player than the more talented (skill-wise) Sergio Rodríguez for example. Anyway, this morning he said the offer wasn't real, just a rummor coming off nowhere. Is it true? Maybe not, he is preparing for game 3 of ACB Finals, so he is only going to talk about his next game.

I like euros they know how to play i hope kpap make the next step this year
Fact is that momentum in games is a real thing, while not tangible itself, you can tangibly see the effect it has when teams are on runs and how it can dramatically effect the outcome of games when you can generate any momentum.

Don't forget my Swiss brother, Clint Capela!

Add in Motiejunas and sign Llull and we'll have a pretty nice Euro contingent on this team.
