Pretty good rebounder, strong as hell but a bully offense.

Another PF...

What do you think?

first round talent fall into second round
can't be more happier
same as always won't be liking this pick
why? because i don't think he will wear rockets uniform more than a season
assume morey's plan b goes according to plan (re-signing all our own free agent)
also means tjones is gone and we still got dmo and jsmoove at pf
big IF morey is going after aldridge then ... there is really no place for harrell since he will be playing behind dmo and jsmoove
unless we are trading both tjones and dmo for aldridge

he was supposed to be a 20-25 pick accoring to mock drafts so its not bad at all. there were 2 6'10 pfs after him i wonder whats wrong with them?

Harrell fell because he has 0% of ever stretching any offense. He's a banger and a hustler and should have quick enough feet to defend well but will probably foul.

I imagine he's going to struggle to be a net positive on the floor. Still a good value at 32, however.

thats what faried does. thats a 1st round pick. he doesnt need to play 40mpg. if your backup pf is a faried clone you cant complain. your starting pf should be a stretch 4, not every pf on your team

Faried is a special kind of hustle and I suspect Harrell isn't that guy. Hopefully though.

I think he's more Jeff Adrien than Faried.

he's not but if he can be close to faried he's a 2nd round steal. being fresh out of college gives him a motor-boost. but he's only in the rotation if we dont have a backup pf, which means either a big trade for a pf or pg

Yeah, I think he makes Jones a little more subject for trade.

At worst he can be another Robinson. I like his length and in-game mental.

So with wood signing we have

D-mo/jones/harrell/wood at the 4

And papa and dekker that can play 4 and even Ariza

I hope we hang on to wood dekker and Harrell but I expect a trade soon and one or all of them to be gone along with jones

i don't think wood will make it to the final roster
unless we traded everyone for a star

Wood is a first round talent...we got 3 first round talents in dekker Harrell and wood

Im just getting so anxious because I know a trade is coming and I wana see if our rookies are still here

I'd bet dekker is gone (sorry nebula) but I could see Harrell and wood staying and backing up d-mo or jones

Dekker definitely stays. Papa and Brewer will probably gone and our current depth chart looks like this (I think we re-sign Beverley)

PG - Llull/Beverley/Johnson
SG - Harden
SF - Ariza/Dekker
PF - D-Mo/T-Jones/Harrell/Wood
C - Dwight/Capela

We could potentially stash Harrell and Wood in the D-League for a year and pick one of the two to maybe eventually move up in the rotation. Ideally, I'd like to trade T-Jones for another SG or PG, re-sign J-Smith and we'd be set for next season.

Morey definitely seems to be loading up on bigs for a trade. Harrell is from North Carolina and we have a need for a hustle big that can bang and attack the rim. Would an offer of the Nets 2018 and 2019 2nd round picks we own be enough to pry him from you?
