For all of those things you want to discuss, but don't feel like making a separate thread.
Here are the last things in the old 2014/2015 thread:
rocketsballin wrote:looks like we got some christian wood! TAKE THAT SATANIST SCUM BAGS! THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU!
MaxRider wrote:what's wrong with stuckey?
combo guard who can create for himself and other
even improved his 3pts last season
if we are saving MLE for Llull can we sign him for veteran minimum?
maybe sign-and-trade?
Nebula1 wrote:I'm really curious to see what the Lakers end up doing.
Land Wade or Love? Aldridge? Nobody?
Cousins?
inquisitive wrote:they are saying in miami that if wade leaves the heat, that dragic will not likely re-sign with miami. i find it hard to believe that goran will base his decision on what wade decides to do.
rocketsballin wrote:no reason to be in miami w/o wade. dragic and bosh aint gonna get it done. bosh also looks like he's declining way too fast. if bosh keeps declining then riley handicapped that team pretty bad for years.
And...GO!

why is there two offseason threads?
except he was in the east which he should've been dominating. he wasnt bad before he got hurt but you expect him to play at a higher level. 20/7/50fg% with some 3s and good defensive stats. but he should've been more like 25/10/55fg%. this past year was one of the most terrible seasons for the east, esp in the playoffs. no one stood a chance vs the cavs.
20/7/50fg% is liek al jefferson numbers. at 20+mil per year, in the east, with all the shots he can handle, thats a letdown in my book.

One for just Rockets talk, this one for any NBA talk.
Looking at that Wiretap headline about Marc Gasol not being interested in playing for the Lakers.
I don't think that it has anything to do with his brother. I think that he's just not a "bright lights, big city" guy. He seems to genuinely enjoy playing in his hometown.
The only team I could see possibly landing Gasol other than Memphis would be west of us on I-10.

Yeah Marc to SA makes a ton of sense, same with Jordan to Dallas.
Hopefully Houston lands Aldridge in that case.

i don't know about Jordan
i do feel Gasol playing style fit better in Pop's system than LMA
also Gasol is international player
his resume is perfect

jordan shoudl stay away from dallas. nba fans deserve better than watching a dwight vs jordan ft contest. that and its dallas. stay with the clippers, or go to the east. he'd be perfect fit with the pacers if george is their pf

The more I see of Towns, the more I realize Minnesota is going to become a dominant franchise. He reminds me of Duncan.
I don't know what they intend to do with Rubio, but they are going to be unreal.

I think that Jordan switches locker rooms at Staples Center.

Wes Matthews hanging out with DeAndre Jordan and... Chandler Parsons in LA.
If Dallas added both those guys, they'd be looking good. I hope Wes gets back to full health.

not really
they still don't have a PG
if they add Matthews which mean Ellis is gone
C - Jordan
PF - Nowitzki (old)
SF - Parsons
SG - Matthews
PG - ????
this lineup don't scare me
no one to create offense
if Parsons is running the offense then let him do pump fake all day and force him to score

Depends quite a bit on who they add at point. If they were able to add a shooter, that could work nicely but I agree they have work to do.

if they spend big money on Jordan and Matthews
they don't have money left for PG
it will be Barae, Harris, and Felton

Agreed, probably true. But maybe they get a guy like Jeff Teague too.
I think Jordan is a really good for them, but overall I think Cuban isn't much of a GM.

they have too many holes to fill so i'm not afraid of them
i'm more afraid of Spurs
lot of players love to play for Pop
seem like Harden and Howard aren't making lot of friends around the league

I knew that I should have copied the article at the time, but earlier today ESPN ran a story by Mark Stein regarding a potential trade of Joe Johnson to the Grizzlies. In the article, Stein referred to the Grizzlies as the Southwest Division Champions.
I know that it is Mark Stein, and he has to say only what Mark Cuban allows him to say, but he could have checked that little factoid pretty easily. The article has since been corrected; however there is no notation of correction. At least not that I can see.
This is another reason why I can't take reports seriously when I see Stein's name attached. It just cannot be trusted.

Joe Johnson?
is adding Joe Johnson enough to convince Gasol to stay?
Randolph is washing up
Johnson too

They are after shooters. I don't think that 24 million dollar Joe Johnson was ever really their answer, but they are looking.
They should go after Afflalo.

I really hope Gasol stays in Memphis. I love that team.
