not only do salaries dont match, but logic dont match neither. lets wait till dmo proves everyone he's not the pf we expected him to be this season. then we can look into trading for a pf.

if one of the pfs is gonna get traded i prefer it to be jones. he's a dime a dozen pf. dmo is rare and had mad potential. he did good last season playing out of posotion most of his minutes. now that he'll be playing more pf and wont lie about his injury, i expect him to have another breakot year. a potential dominant twin tower staring lineup is too much to pass on

the rumor started because Rockets players started a pre-training camp in LA area and Morris is there
remember this is just players own private activity Rockets organization is not involve
so it doesn't mean non-Rockets players can't go
Morris is good friend and he was also in the area so he was there to train with them

dont fall for this. This rumor is being floated out there by one Cristian Andal, who also suggested the 76ers would be looking at a Zeller + picks trade for Embiid. Based on nothing at all. Don't believe the hype.

That was Marcus? What about the spin class picture? I thought that was Markieff. My mistake if I misread.

That said, I don't mind if both Morris bros end up in Houston.

they look alike and have same tattoos
i don't know them well enough to tell them apart
i can't tell my twins cousins apart too (doesn't help when they live 10,000 miles away)
the training camp is just bunches of good friends/old teammate gathering for working out (not just rockets players)(i hear howard isn't there)

Agreed and I think Marcus has a bit more babyface than Markieff. I was just going off the information I read and because markieff is trying to get out, I think this would be one way to do it.

In the end, it doesn't seem like there is any way to make the numbers work, but Morey is still Morey.

I don't really like the thought of trading Jones or DMo for Markieff. I just dont see Markieff moving the needle much at all. The Rockets would likely have to include other players to match salaries and I dont like his attitude. Those are the biggest reasons why I dont think it will happen.
He's a nice pf that can hit his ft's but he's best attribute are mid-long range 2's. If he was Aldridge or Bosh then ok, but he's not and that isn't what the Rockets do and its probably why he's far less efficient than Jones and DMo. Maybe his efficientcy rises in Houstons system but who knows. I guess i just rather see this team playout and feel that if we make a trade it should be for a big upgrade, not a lateral move with arguable fit.
