Starting PG: Beverley or Lawson?

OK, we've had Media Day and it is time to end the basketball hibernation and get back to work!
The Rockets are entering the 2015/2016 season with one of the deepest rosters that the team has ever assembled. Having this type of depth is great, but the team may find instances where they have decisions to make on player rotations. I think that we have clear starters in Harden, Howard & Ariza, leaving two positions where they could make some decisions. The big question everyone seems to have about Houston is who will be the starting point guard to go along with James Harden.
I have seen arguments for starting both players which make sense.
On one hand, Beverley is the better defender and he doesn't need the ball in his hands which allows Harden to control the offense.
On the other hand, Lawson is a far better offensive player, but that might mean that Harden must cede some control to maximize Lawson's potential.
There is a solid argument that you start Beverley and have him hound the opposing starting PG for 5-6 minutes, and then bring Lawson in fresh.
It will be interesting to see what McHale decides to do with this position. I will not use the term "controversy" to describe these guys like we're picking a quarterback because we all know that it's not always who starts that is as important as who finishes. We also know that Harden is cool with Lawson taking some of the offensive creation because he is exactly the type of player that Harden asked Morey to go and get.
Fortunately with this depth we will see all kinds of combinations on the floor. I think that we will see McHale try to stagger Harden & Lawson to help reduce Harden's minutes and that fits with the idea of Beverley remaining as the starter. Don't be surprised to see stretches in games this upcoming season where we see all three guys on the court at the same time. Running a Small Ball lineup of Harden, Lawson, Beverley with Ariza or Brewer at the 4 and any of our big guys at the 5 would make for a potent Small Ball squad.
While the choice is not in our hands, what is your opinion on the ideal starting PG for the Rockets and what roles everyone should expect?
