Not just the Rockets - I'm talking all Houston sports.

There have been plenty of years where our teams have been awful or mediocre; but this team was in the Western Conference Finals last year. They were considered one of the elite teams coming into this season...and this is where we are now.

And the worst part is that the team may actually be better off missing the playoffs. Which is a distinct possibility at the moment.

Hell, it might be the more probable outcome.

It's become difficult to watch these games. I don't know about everyone else, but it's almost getting too difficult. Even when they play well it just adds to the frustration because we know what kind of talent is on this roster!

How is everyone else holding up?

for Rockets it sure is
coming off your best finished (WCF) in 18 years and this year everyone has high expectation
the team is pretty much the same with addition of Ty Lawson
a PG we been hoping for to take off some of the load from Harden
and then .... what the is happening
this is far worse than those years when we can't keep both Yao and T-Mac healthy
everyone was playing hard back then
even when we were 3 straight years at 9th spot
that team was playing hard
yes we made the playoff with Harden
for some reason i love the team finished 9th 3 years in a row more
fans favorite Chuckwagon, Scola, Lowry, Dragic, don't forget Mr. Pump Fake, Parsons was likeable too

1986-87 season was worse. Went to NBA Finals the year before. Lloyd and Wiggins get banned January 1987 for drugs. Ralph Sampson limited to only 43 games because of injury. He would go on to play 19 games the next season before being traded Decmber 1987.

In June 1986 they drafted Buck Johnson 20th overall and could have taken Mark Price, Dennis Rodman, Nate McMillan, Arvydas Sabonis, Kevin Duckworth, Drazen Petrovic, Jeff Hornacek or Scott Skiles.

They finished 42-40 and beat Portland 3-1 in the first round but lost to Seattle in the second round 4-2 despite having home court advantage. (they lost games 1 and 2 @ The Summit).

The years with k mart and Lowry were more exciting to watch
