TJones is unplayable and awful to watch. At least Beasley is fun to watch lol he was good in China but probably still sucks

Maybe this is a tank move. Play a lineup of Gouldelock, Brewer, Beasley, Jones and Smith and we will have a top ten pick in no time!

Great move, I like the team option. I was hoping Toronto would pick him up but we went for Thompson. Can Beasley play in the playoffs this season if you make it?

It's Beasley time.

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

this move would have been nice if McHale was still there, will be interesting if he stays at the 4 and how they use him
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Not a big fan of this move, but hoping to be wrong. I feel like this team is losing any identity it had and would rather see Terrence Jones get his PT back.

Doubt that's happening regardless of Beasley signing. Looks like big rotation is Dwight-Dmo-Clint-Smith. TJ got a DNP-CD last night and Dmo still isn't playing a lot of minutes. I think outside of injury TJ has lost his PT. this game that he didn't play in had his best +/- since January 21st. A 0. He's awful now

Pat Beverly's entire career? Josh Smith and Corey Brewer last year?

Brewer - two 2nd round picks (Sacramento and Houston) and some cash and more cash to get rid of Shved isn't really low risk, look like fair deal
Smith - good for 50% and bad for 50%, it is a risk and payoff in last year playoff
Beverley - minimum salary, it doesn't really count as risk, if this count as risk then all the undrafted free agents he signed count as well
Beasley is a headcase and it is a risk

For what we got out of Brewer that was a great deal for Houston. And without Smoove we don't get to the conference finals.
AND HOW DOES A MINIMUM CONTRACT NOT COUNT AS A SMALL RISK FOR BEV BUT IT DOES FOR TWO MONTHS OF BEASLEY. That's the point of this move. Not really taking a risk but if he becomes a rotation player than the deal is amazing and they can keep him at that tiny contract next year.

risk is something you take that can either make you or break you
how is signing minimum salary for players that go undrafted or played oversea count as risk?
it doesn't hurt you if they suck
Beasley is risk because of his behavior
Brewer look like fair trade (i typed wrong, it is actually two 2nd round picks+cash for Brewer and then two more 2nd round picks and Shved to NY for Prigioni)
Smith is a risk (i admitted this) that payoff in last year playoff
he took the risk at him again this year and he suck

Except he didn't take a risk on smith this year, the clips sent cash to cover smiths contract and all we sent was a 34 year old who's never coming to the NBA. No risk at all, lost nothing. And I disagree don't think there's much risk with Beasley, he gets arrested or does something dumb he's cut and you lost nothing. No harm done

Also according to everyone Beasley has been a pro's pro while in China. Maybe that's because Weed is so hard to get over there or maybe he realizes he needs to shape up
