Game 65: Rockets @ Celtics 6:30 CDT 3/11

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Fri Mar 11, 2016 9:36 pm

Rockets bring a 32-32 record into a tough matchup on the road in Boston tonight. The team is currently holding the 8th seed in West, 0.5 out of 7th & 1.5 out of 6th.

They are going to need big games from everyone tonight.

Go Rockets!

I am pretty surprised how much PT Beasley has gotten so quickly. Liking what I'm seeing so far.

Harden is capable of making great passes, and his assist number would be higher if his teammates hit more shots. That said, sometimes I think that he thinks that he is Magic Johnson with some of those decisions.

If we can get a good rotation where Dwight & Capela stagger their minutes then we could have a solid 5 presence for the full game.

When not playing small, of course.

Yup. Some games he just slings the ball around in transition.

The Celtics have been extremely sloppy as well, uncharacteristic of them

In all of my years of watching the NBA I do not think that I've ever seen the ball roll all the way across half court before a player picked it up.

One thing that I had forgotten about Motie's gameplay is what a good passer he is. Such great on-court awareness.

He should inbound in big situations, not Ariza, he's bigger and a much better/smarter passer

The Rockets can't get a call to save their lives and Dwight gives Sully a little bit of body and he gets a whistle.

How was that not a foul on Bradley? He put a shoulder into Harden so shot it and no call.

I've conditioned myself not to get too upset about missed calls.

The Ref who called that foul on Harden (who got elbowed in the chin) was not looking at the play and fell down...
