2016 Draft

Post#1 » by texasholdem » Thu Apr 7, 2016 5:30 pm

Right now we would have the 12th pick if we miss the playoffs

Last time we had that we took Jeremy Lamb, who ended up in the Harden trade.

Would be cool to get Sabonis's kid. We'd have Donatas and Domantas.

We also have the Knicks' second rounder, which would be great to use on Danuel House of A&M or Thomas Walkup of SFA

What position do you think we need? I know Morey usually drafts BPA anyway so it's purely hypothetical.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Position of greatest need is PF, but so much depends on the rest of the offseason.

I think I'd target Demetrius Jackson at this time.

Morey will always draft best available instead of need because he treat draftee as asset

I would want Timothe Luwawu. An actual 3&D player from overseas. Every NBA team needs tons of wings

I really like Tyler Ulis from Kentucky, who knows we'd still have a chance to win the lottery even if the odds are against us doing it.

The biggest point would be getting a player with value from the Draft to compensate for this horrid season. Now we're asking to get our ass kicked by Golden State and after that beating is over we'd be left ass out.

Tyler Ulis is a much better College player than he will be an NBA one. If the defense didn't work out with James and Ty I'm sure it would be much worse with him

Anyone think a Harden/Valentine backcourt could work?
He's a 6'5" , 220lb guard.
Denzel averaged 19.2 ppg, 7.8 apg, 7.5 rpg, 1.0 spg, 46.2% fg, 44.4% threes in his senior year
Was Player of the Year by AP, NBC, Sports Illustrated, USA Today, Basketball Times
Projected to be picked 21st by nbadraft.net, 23rd by DraftExpress, 15th by CBSSports, 12th by S.I.
Defense is his weakness like Harden's.

no one, just outscore the other team. we'd have to trade ariza to get the first rounder to pick Valentine anyway
