I haven't been able to watch much of this game tonight. I see that Harden is being Harden, but it looks like Gordon isn't scoring. What's going on there?

Outside of Harden Clint and KJ everyone has been pretty awful tonight. Have about 1000 turnovers

Why did we trade Beasley again?
He would be so much better in this offense than Anderson. Ok so what he doesn't shot 3's, Anderson doesn't make them anyway.

Because he's an awful basketball player.

Anderson and Gordon really have to be killing it in the same game for the Rockets to have a chance it seems. Gordon was a no show tonight...then again, the Hawks were intent on not letting him get open looks. Anderson was ok, but if he doesn't hit his shots, he needs to at least rebound. Otherwise, he really has no business being out there. Hopefully, DMO can come to an agreement soon.

Are Rockets gonna be a .500 team again this year? It's early but 3-3 doesn't inspire much confidence.
if Dirk had been healthy it might be 2-4.
team stats
Last year: 106.5 ppg vs 106.4 OPPppg
This year: 108.0 ppg vs 108.2 OPPppg
Last year: 43.1 rpg vs 44.6 OPPrpg
This year: 42.5 rpg vs 39.8 OPPrpg
Last year: 45.2 %FG vs 45.9 %OPPFG
This year: 46.6 %FG vs 46.8 %OPPFG

Typically we have no idea until 20 games in.
Also using offensive and defensive rating instead of ppg would be better. I don't think it makes the Rockets look much better but it's much more useful as it accounts for the pace teams play at. Same with FG% vs TS% or eFG%, taking alot of threes makes your offense more efficient in reality but lowers your FG% which is why alot of people have stopped using it

Rockets just don't have another serious go to guy. If Harden has a bad game, chances are, the Rockets are going down in flames.

Thunder is doing great with Westbrook in pretty much the same role as Harden.

They've had a little bit of an easier schedule, Rockets haven't gotten to play the Suns and Sixers yet, it's far too early to be comparing teams by their record
