I started the first game thread of the season against this very team...and it did not go well. A lot of assumptions were made about each time right off of the bat and things ended up going in very different directions for both as the season wore on.

Tonight's game sees the Rockets going for playoff position while the Lakers have gone all-in on developing their young players. I am expecting a high-scoring game, even by Rockets standards. At the very least it should be fast and it should be fun!

The big question here is: can Mr. E reverse the curse? Seems like as good a time as any to give it a shot!

I expect RealGM MVP, ducler, to be along shortly with the lineups. Harden's going to beast and the bigs are going to feast!

GO ROCKETS!!!

I have faith in this one. Evil Butters is due for a game winning thread. It's going to happen. It is written, and it shall be done. I'm seriously afraid for the Lakers now.

Go Rockets!

There is something I have seen in many games which I have wondered if anyone else has noticed.

It seems like at least once a game we see a player on the opposing team look like they are about to shoot it from Rocket Launchers range, but then hesitate and step closer to the line to shoot. It's almost like they are watching the Rockets and are thinking "That looks fun! I can do that...no, Coach will kill me if I shoot from that far back."

Anyone else notice that?

Wow so nice seeing the old squad back together. Such a shame looking at Luther head outside the league.

Corey, tonight's your only opportunity to prove that the Rockets made a mistake trading you away. ;)

Nothing intentional, but that looked like it hurt!

WOW! Both are bleeding and they aren't looking at the play?

I think that the refs want this game to get over with as quickly as possible. Again, I don't think that was intentional, but he drew blood from two guys on one play!
