He has very good control of his body well when he attacks the rim and he's fundamentally sound, but I just don't know how effective he'll be in a fast-paced offense. Utah runs a completely different offense than the Rockets currently do.

This kid can play in any style offense. He just can flat out play!

Why would he go to Houston, Utah is a better team, their record was worse due to the bad injuries.

I'm thinking Morey will go after Millsap this summer and then Paul George after next season to replace Ariza.
Beverley
Harden
George
Millsap
Capela
Gordon
Anderson
Dekker

If not Hayward, Rudy Gay might be another target, if he's willing to come off the bench.

Why would any big free agent want to play with Harden now after watching him just quit.

I don't think Harden quit as much as he was beaten. The Spurs took away what the Rockets do and pounded them inside once Nene went down. I think the credit has to go to San Antonio.
I think the overwhelming evidence is the guys loved playing together this year and James was a big part of the chemistry. I don't think somebody like Paul George would pass on taking a look. They already know each other well.

Did the Spurs force him to go clubbing and stripper tipping right after the game too? If Kawhi and Parker played I could accept his poor performance more but they didn't.

What did you want him to do instead? He's 27 and just lost a tough series... maybe he wanted to party and forget. I give credit to the Spurs. Aldridge beat the hell out of them like he was back in Portland or something.
Don't forget... Ryan Anderson was a no show and makes 18M. Eric Gordon... another 12M no show. Credit to the Spurs and I also credit the Rockets for an overall good season despite the fizzle out.

On the topic of Harden(totally off topic but let's roll with it), forget game 6, they lost the series in OT in game 5. I'm not going to jump on the anti-Harden train yet, but man he sucked massive taint in that OT.
Watching him just dribble the shot clock away and then jack up a bad shot(when he wasn't turning it over, anyways) was painful.
Some of the blame perhaps should go to our coach for only playing seven guys, so maybe he was "tired".
Whatever. Pass the ball.
Still upset about that, but the Spurs were the better team anyways and deserved to win the series. It was still a very fun year overall and I look forward to next season.
You're right about Spaceman and Splash too, Nebula. They all collectively got bent over and Zed'd by the Spurs.
Anyways, Hayward and stuff.

And Harden was a 28 million dollar no show. He should have shown the fans more respect than partying afterwards.

I'm not sure you want that... I'd prefer Millsap since he can bang a little bit.

Sorry but no. Harden is allowed to celebrate a phenomenal season despite the series loss. He and the Rockets have nothing to hang their heads about after far exceeding expectations and providing an entertaining season.
