Anderson owed 61.2 million over 3 years. Bledsoe 29.5 over 2 years.

Bledsoe and LeBron are good friends.

Morey didn't even offer 2 first for Melo

But what if freeing up that extra $6m difference between Bledsoe and Anderson's salaries and his being a Rocket were to help get LeBron or Cousins to sign here? (Bledsoe played with Cousins at Kentucky). Would that be worth the picks?

I still don't believe the BS LeBron will sign with team that has most of his friends.

He did it before with Miami :) I don't think he'll stay in CLE.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

They would have to dump all of Ryno's contract to get even close, not part of it. So you would be paying three firsts to dump someone in the off-season

With Ryan the salary next year is 80m, with Bledsoe it's 74m before Bird rights on Ariza, Capela, Paul. If you trade away Onuaku and Williams that's another 3m to get to 71m. That should be enough for 1 more Max player if the cap is around 100. (I said lebron or cousins not both)

I've ran the numbers on my salary sheet. You're ignoring cap holds for Ariza ($12M), Capela ($7M), Paul ($29M iirc). those numbers count against your cap until those guys sign a new deal whether that be with the Rockets or another team. They would have to dump Ryno, EG, let Ariza walk, trim all the fat from the roster, and have Paul take a discount just to offer Bron $25M.

Bottom line: not using 3 firsts in a deal to move Anderson!

Do we really need another PG?
Why bother keeping Bobby Brown on the roster if he isn't going to be the 3rd or 4th PG?
1st: CP3
2nd: Harden
3rd: Jackson

Well Jackson can only spend a max of 45 days with the Rockets because he's on a two way deal, and that clock started yesterday with the beginning of Vipers camp, so he has 43 left, so it's a bit misleading to have him as the third PG. The rest of the season must be spent in the Valley.

Bobby Brown isn't on the team to play, he's a locker room presence that played a decent role in attracting CP3

give him some role instead of a roster spot
wish we can keep Taylor

Bobby Brown isn't the reason they cut Taylor though. They came out of preseason with 14. They cut him because they just didn't think he was worth keeping I suppose

When he returns, should he just run the 2nd unit? come off the bench?

Rockets are going to wreck havoc when CP3 comes back. You just wait.

Maybe not the Warriors.

A+ for the amazing alliteration.
