Rudy T snubbed for 2018 Hall of Fame?

The Naismith Hall of Fame inductees will be officially announced over the weekend; but it looks as if Rudy T may be snubbed again.

So far the rumored inductees are Jason Kidd, Grant Hill, Steve Nash & Maurice Cheeks

I hope that is not the full list. RUDY T HOF, DAMMIT!

Chris Webber in my opinion is another guy who got snubbed.

Let’s be fair here, Webber probably belongs in there before Rudy.

Rudy’s got a lot of Houston fame. All time, nationally?

Eh.

I can see an argument that he created the 4-out 1-in precedent of the modern NBA, or that he has a quote that’s been used nationally all over the place for decades, or that he was in one of the biggest scares in NBA history, but HOF?

I’d like to see him get there, don’t get me wrong, but he’s the definition of a borderline candidate.

I’d argue he should have gotten in over someone in one of the last few weak classes, or maybe over Mo Cheeks, who’s a bit lesser than Rudy, but this wasn’t terrible.

And let’s be real, if it’s close, the national anti-Houston bias is going to push him out.
