ROCKETS vs. Warriors.

This is the one that everyone has been waiting for. Last summer pretty much every team in the NBA was ready to roll over and show their belly to the mighty Warrior juggernaut. Houston was the one team who was not ready and willing to just anoint the Oakland team as the preordained champions. Chris Paul, Luc M'Bah a Moute, PJ Tucker & Gerald Green were added to the cast of James Harden, Trevor Ariza, Eric Gordon, Nene, Ryan Anderson & Clint Capela.

Just about everyone outside of Houston questioned the FIT (because two of the smartest NBA players and a roster of guys on the same page can't possibly work). Instead, the Rockets marched to their franchise-best record (including 2 of 3 against the Bay Area team), and proceeded to smash early-season darling, Minnesota and late-season darling, Utah on their way to the showdown of the year.

I am rooting for you. But man I know Mike D’s coaching. His short rotations and habit of going small even when his big players are doing great—well it’s just so frustrating.
