ESPN: move players Eric Gordon, Tucker and Anderson to teams with cap space and not take back salary

100% quote:

The potential $205 million Chris Paul contract

The cost of retaining restricted free agent Clint Capela

Creating room in free agency would see Houston gut its roster, move players such as Eric Gordon, PJ Tucker and Ryan Anderson to teams with cap space and not take back salary.

Besides the salary-cap logistics, Paul and Capela would have to take a significant discount.

Or they could just pay luxury tax

I think it's possible they trade Ryno for a less problematic contract like say Demarre Carroll ( expiring for 5m less for some cap relief, but they won't have much assets to play

I don’t trust ESPN.

In fact, I don’t believe any NBA rumor until I hear it from the Des Moines Register.
