Priority would go to Capela and CP3. Trade Ryan Anderson and upgrade the 4. Find a backup PG.

Great great defensive effort by the Rockets all around. It was truly something great to see.

Lol at refs costing the Rockets the series. Last I saw it was some 17-18 wide open shots at the rim and behind the line that cost them the win.

No hesitation at all on giving CP3 the contract that he could have gotten from the Clippers?

He turned 33 earlier this month so can he play as many minutes from this point forward? History indicates that he'll miss games during the regular season and in the playoffs, so maybe one way to reduce injury risk is reduce his minute and maybe give him games off like Pop did with his older players.

Ariza is a free agent. He's 34 but still had a good season. But not too many teams have cap space so he might not get too many big offers.

Get a true back up PG and get Clint a back up

He was the best defender we had for KD and he's a freaking dog for loose balls. You're not replacing him easily.

I don't get us finding a backup PG when we've ran a perfectly fine three guard lineup. We could use an insurance policy, but there's very few of these type of PGs that could play in a series against Golden State.

Chris Paul
James Harden | Eric Gordon
Trevor Ariza | Gerald Green
PJ Tucker | A F****** Healthy Mbah a Mounte
Clint Capela

There's 8 rotation players we could somewhat to completely trust against the Warriors. For those watching the Finals, keep an eye on Jeff Green to see how he defends against the Warriors because he could be another minimum guy we can add to our collection of 3&D players.

Capela has Nene and Black as backup
problem is they can't guard perimeter just like Anderson and getting exploit on defense

UFA
CP3 - is he willing to accept less than supermax?
Ariza - i wonder what his asking price is
Mbah a Moute - he definitely can get more than MLE from other team
Green - he's true Houstonian, you :censored: -ing bring him back
Johnson - better retire
Black - don't mind him back if come cheap

RFA
Capela - this is going to be like Parsons all over again

there's an article that Houston can create 50M cap space by trading Anderson, Tucker, Gordon without getting salary back
if LeBron and CP3 willing to take less
match Capela offer sheet
then you basically have

C - Capela
F - LeBron
F - ????
G - Harden
G - CP3

but then our depth will be horrible

Black and Mbah a Moute are UFAs.

So is Gerald Green and Joe Johnson.

Guessing Houston would only keep these players if they're willing to sign for minimum deals.

Do you guys have draft picks this year?

Lot of teams try to get wings in the draft, hope that they could hit the corner 3s enough.

Toronto found a good wing player with the 23rd pick last year in Anuonoby.

Mbah a moute didn’t help his stock with the way he played this series

His shoulder hasn't been right. He's definitely not the player showcased in the conference finals.

I honestly value Tucker more than Capela after seeing this series. We can sweep the lesser West teams on talent alone with Paul, Harden, and James, but Tucker is clearly more vital against the Dubs.

this is because Green is GSW center
if it were KAT or AD, then you will know we need Capela for length
i know he isn't worth the max but not like we have any choice

cp3 will be back and im sure he will take less $$ if it means getting Lebron who will come if the Cavs lose the Finals. Lebron will only take a discount if he joins the Rockets. cp3 will convince him that the team should be kept intact as much as possible. Would like to keep Ariza if he accepts a discount. would like Luc back for vet min. Anderson needs to be packaged with a 1st & 2nd rd pick in order to get him out of Houston.

Actually for a matchup with GSW, KAT would be better for Rockets than Capela. There is no way the Wolves would do a deal like that though. Plus Clint's a RFA anyway.

Po tay to. Po tah to.

B-ball breakdown did an interview with Ronnie Nunn, who basically confirmed that the refs probably cost the rockets upward of at least 10 points on blatantly bad calls in game 7 alone.

Obviously I wouldn’t argue that their shooting helped matters.
