Lakers salary dump model for Rockets to learn.

Post#1 » by Traderwest » Sat Jun 9, 2018 8:36 pm

Lakers salary dump model:
1. Trade Russell and Mozgov to the Nets for Brook Lopez and Kuzma (top 5 pick level)
Result: Lakers save 22 million salary cap space for 2018.

2. Trade unprofessional-level player Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. to the Cavaliers for two-time All-Star Isaiah Thomas, veteran Channing Frye and a 2018 first-round pick.
Result: Lakers save 16 million salary cap space for 2018.
Clarkson has only one assist in last 8 games, shooting 31% in the playoffs. At the time he was traded: 37 million salary

Copy Lakers salary dump model:
Rockets trade Ryan Anderson to the Cavalier for George Hill and Michael Porter Jr.?
Result: Rockets save 15 million salary cap space for 2019 and get Michael Porter Jr.

They should also draft a rookie with an overbearing, attention whore for a father.

I don't give a **** about the Lakers. If anything, the Lakers should learn how to operate like the Rockets.
