Very happy with this move

but it can’t be our last move though. He ain’t great on d, right? Plus we still need another rim protector, I know he doesn’t do that.

But I am super happy we got him. He can still play.

He’s not supposed to be great on D, but he IS efficient on O and a very good rebounder.

Against backups, and as a short term higher minutes guy, that could be enough.

I’m pumped he’s on the team. Have wanted him here for years. Wish it could have been years ago, but I’ll take it.

Small sample but I think he's a great signing already. I don't expect him to produce like he did against the Raptors, but he's already doing his job setting good screens, rolling to the basket, crashing the glass, and just being effective off the ball. The GB forum is of course nitpicking his defense, but he has a lot of good traits and the Rockets found another garbaged good.

Someone mentioned Taj Gibson a few months ago. Faried is similar. Sure defensively inferior, but cheaper.

I just feel bad that the guy wasted his prime 5 years on a Denver team that didn’t even know it should play him more than 28mpg.

Nevermind actually building a good squad.
