Buy out players so far
Enes Kanter
Wes Matthews-pacers
Lopez?
Ellington?
Who else? Who do you think AND who should we target?

read somewhere Ellington is going to Detroit
i don't know how the salary work but we are only 600k under the tax (enough to convert House contract)
so we can't go crazy on buyout market if we want to have 9M MLE to use next off-season
i think we are set
C - Capela, Faried
F - Tucker, Clark
F - Shumpert, Green
G - Harden, Gordon
G - CP3, Rivers

Kieff and Ellington are the only interesting ones as of now. Don't need another center

I want Kanter. A center who shoots 80 percent on free throws while avg a double double in only 25mpg could be useful in the playoffs.

Kanter came off the bench backing up Adams for OKC so he would also backup Capela. Instead of the Stache Bros we'd have the Swiss Misters. Faried has done a good job though but he's a poor FT shooter like Clint and Nene.

deadline for playoff eligible is getting waived by 3/1
more players will ask for buyout to play for contender
just don't want to sign somebody now till we absolutely sure
we can only sign one veteran minimum deal to stay under tax zone

House is better than Ellington imo. It almost feels like the Rockets are banking on House to sign at least a 2-yr deal.

Kanter is completely unplayable in the playoffs because his defense is so bad. Did you not watch the OKC-Hou series? They caught Billy Donavon saying "we can't play Kanter" on camera. And he was better then than he is now.
They don't need ANOTHER center

Yeah he's probably better than Mathews at this point too. They need to get him back

You always seem to want the worst things for the Rockets
Kieff would be a great get, and there is apparently mutual interest, but everything hinges on his prognosis.
I've read he was seeking a second opinion.

I didn't want to sign an aging injury prone Chris Paul for 160 million. Was that the best thing for the rockets?

according to rumor that's what we promised him (supposed to be supermax for 5 years)
kind of upset they can't lower it to 3 years
it doesn't matter with Morris or not
IMO we don't have enough for WCF
we waited too long on our offense
defense already know what we are going to do
it would be better if the pick guy can score
don't think Morris can be that guy
maybe Love but not affordable

And Clint shot 10 for 25 (40%) on free throws in the western conference finals. I'm not even saying to play Kanter a ton of minutes or sign him to a long term deal but in certain situations he could be useful.
We don't even know how healthy Clint will be upon return. Do we really want a 6'7 faried and old Nene to go against Jokic, Gobert, Cousins, Nurkic, Adams.

I’m in for Kanter if kieff doesn’t work out

Kieff is seeking second opinion on his neck injury
we don't even know if he can play this season
we just need someone who can get rebound without fighting with your teammates
i'm still shaking my head when Faried, Tucker, CP3 all went after the same rebound

Acquiring Chris Paul gave the Rockets their best shot at a title since Dream was in his prime.
Hell yeah it was the best thing for the Rockets.

I have a feeling Kieff is coming. get him and bring House back before the playoffs and they're looking solid

Kanter to blazers...he was my backup hope if we couldn’t get kieff
So hopefully, like Chile says, we get Morris and bring house back
