Chris Paul wants out?

If true, not to trash his decision but realistically, where would be the best destination for him when considering his contract?

Dallas. He's a cowboys fan anyway.

Paul for Tim Hardaway Jr and Dwight Powell.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

He would be perfect for Phoenix Suns playing next to Booker and Ayton.

The problem is Phoenix doesn't have anything we like outside of those 2. Maybe Jackson but that's it. Needs to involve a 3rd team.

Jackson has too much off court baggage. Suns don't have the cap room to absorb Paul's contract the way Dallas can.

Send the Mavs Capela and CP3 in two different trades please.

Capela for the TPE that the Mavs have, then the Mavs can package everything else into the CP3 trade, which includes Dwight Powell, Courtney Lee, Tim Hardaway Jr., Jalen Brunson, Justin Jackson, Ryan Broekhoff, #37 overall, and he right to swap first round picks in 2020, 2022, and 2024.

  8-) :P

Now that things have gotten more contentious, just send them THJ and Courtney Lee

No team will want to trade for CP3. That contract is so bad. Its as bad as the John wall contract. I have a feeling Harden might request a trade of things get so bad next season.

We are stuck with CP3 unfortunately. Our best hope is to ride out his contract, and hope he 1) stays healthy 2) does not turn into a defensive black hole as while he continues to age 3) give some sort of offensive contribution leading the 2nd unit.

Trading away CP3 at this point means we will get some equally atrocious assets in return. This is already proven by the Ryan Anderson trade - you are stuck with crap one way or other.

Rockets giving CP3 that terrible contract extension was the kiss of death.

There is a better chance they outright cut CP3 then trade him. No one is taking that outside of Washington if the Rockets took back Wall.

Whatever happened behind the camera may be true, but I appreciate CP3's maturity in handling the situation. He and Harden aren't perfect, but we need both of these guys to compete in the wild west. Hope the two can settle their differences.
