Rivers back to houston

No thread for this? This is huge for our bench since we’ve decided we’re running it back, he was important last year

Rivers became one of my favorite rockets last year and gives 110%

I am happy as hell, even happier than the fact Butler didn't choose us. **** Jimmy Butler and his stupid ego.

Huge indeed.

I think what's gotten lost in the free agency frenzy/Jimmy Butler consternation is that once the Rockets got healthy, purged the roster of last summer's mistakes, and atoned in the buy-out market, they were the best team in the league.
Top 2 in offense, Top 2 in defense, Number 1 in net rating, and best record post All-Star break.

Austin Rivers played a significant role in that.
Glad to have him back, especially when he likely could have sought more money elsewhere.

LLE for a guy like Rivers is a steal. He's come a long way. Start out as a little punch from a legacy family now to a player who brings a toughness, plays solid defense, and an underrated on ball game.

Now we chase Iggy if he gets bought out?
