Wow, as soon as I turned the game on we start letting them back in and now they tie it up.

Time to revisit the fire D'Antoni conversation. Been pulling for that since game 7 against the warriors

Now this might sound crazy but I actually don't blame Harden. He has been playing this way for many many years and it's very hard to ask him to change his game. Just like you don't ask Curry do run more ISO, KD to start creating assists, Kyrie to keep banging down low. Harden is having a career best shooting season so far, he threw in extra shooting practice after the game last night, obviously he is serious about the game and putting in a lot of effort. So there is that.
I do hold MDA accountable. We've seen it time and time again, when Harden gets doubled, he failed to deliver a plan B. When Harden is cold, he failed to deliver a plan B. House is cold? He threw him back to the bench. He was for large amount of time undecided on how to use Gordon, starting or off the bench. This many years he still hasn't worked out a scheme on how to get Harden more open looks when he is cold.
In a way I hope we lose lot of games in the upcoming schedule just to MDA can feel more heat. We ending up on the 4th seed, 6th seed, or even low it won't make any difference right now. We have championship aspiration, so to get bounced in the 1st round or WCF it's the same thing. However, how to play our game more than just one dimension is the key thing to solve going forward, and edging out teams like the Cavs and Hawks with Harden playing 38 minutes is only sliding problems underneath the carpet.
