Notes:This is a huge game for us , if we win we will be just 3.5 games behind NO , this is a real test because they are by far the best team we play against without T-Mac , lets see if the role players can continue playing great and if we can really get excited and say "IT'S TIME".

Go Rockets!

Nice thread lol, but anyways this is going to be a tough game for us. Were going to have to really use Yao, and Yao has to be ready, or were going to get blown out. This team is a pretty serious team to beat, they have been playing very good, and have been beating very good teams.

This should be a real good game, I can't wait.

Let's see how Alston deals with Paul.

Is T-Mac coming back before the San Antonio game? I read that he was out for three more games, but I wasn't sure if that included the game last night against the wolves.

I love how we're playing, and so it at least gives me hope we might win. BUt if I were a betting man, I'd take New Orleans.

NO 98
Houston 93

We may pull out a win, were a better defensive team then they are. But Yao has to have a big game, and the bench has to be like it was last night.

6 game win streak without Tmac? Yeah right. I don't care if all six games are against the Wolves, this ain't happening. I predict a loss.

this is a huge game for us, the hornets do a real good job at pushing the ball up court, so we have to be able to stop that, bonzi's return should help us, and hopefully we dont let paul and jackson shoot like they did last night

This would be a huge confidence booster, but seems unlikely.

Have to establish Yao early and often, and role player have to hit their shots. Defense as usual has to be tough, and at least have to make Paul work who IMO has been the best player in the NBA so far, not even a competition. If we can do all that, I'm sure we can hang in there with em, but just like Boston and G.S, I doubt we can close out a game with a true closer in Paul.

Yao will certainly have his hands full with chandler on the boards, so we cant miss a whole lot of shots and expect to get a win,

Very tough game. Chris Paul abuses us every time, and Yao has had some trouble with Chandler in the past.

Given the way we are playing we can win this game though. If Yao can defeat Chandler and own the paint we have a good chance to win.

we need to use the same strategy against Nash on Paul
make Paul scored all the points for them

Yeah imo they included the Wolves game since Keith Jones said he is expected to come back by SA.
