Orlando would have a good laugh with that.

Would Orlando really trade Turkoglu, he's been their second best player this season and has easily been their go to guy down the stretch with yet another game-winner today. No way they do the deal IMO.

And we'd likely have to sign a PF if we were to do this trade, because a Hayes-Landry rotation would easily be the worst in the league, I'd still do the trade though haha.

Turk has the same amount of value as D. Howard has right now..

Wow, I can't think of any reason that the Rockets would accept this deal. Unless they are trying to make the team worse.

Seriously though, this trade is horrible. There's no reason Orlando would want Scola, we wouldn't want to give up him and Battier to get Turk, AND he wouldn't flourish as much in our offense as he does in one that's built around him. Turk is a case of the offense making the player look better than he is. Not that he's bad, just that he isn't this good in another system.

Good post.

Hedo's usage rate is as high as most of the stars in this league. Yet, his PER is substantially low and despite that fact that he hit the winning shot, his shooting has been mediocre. Orlando is still missing that perimeter star who can CONSISTENTLY make plays down the stretch.

Their system has been unfair to Rashard who's been playing PF. I am pretty sure you understand what I mean by this (check vs. Pistons games) In this sense, Hedo has been getting a lot of benefit in Rashard's presence by playing SG/SF and occasionally the point.

Orlando is a good team, but I think they need a decent PF to guard other bigmen, move Rashard to his natural position and find out if he can be that consistent perimeter guy.

Best part is how I didn't even need to watch their team this year to know exactly what's happened by glancing at their stats. Yet in spite of it being that easy to spot, we get trade propositions like this anyway. (didn't know about the Rashard thing. don't try and give him too much responsibility, he's not making enough to expect him to be consistently helpful)
